(LOADING BAYS) (AMENDMENT No. 51) ORDER 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 September 2022 made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 16 September 2022.
2. The general effects of the Loading Places Order is to introduce loading bays as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. Further particulars relating to the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/051, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 September 2022 made make the above Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment
Order is to introduce lengths of yellow lines and loading restrictions set out in the schedule to this Notice.
3. The general effects of the Parking Places Order is to amend, remove, add and make changes to the hours of operation to certain parking places as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
4. Further particulars relating to the Orders, which come into operation on 16 September 2022,: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21 /063, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Restrictions Various Roads in the Borough
(Reference 22/203)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 26 September 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 26 September 2022 until 16 December 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure High Street, Hampton
(Reference 22/202)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in High Street, Hampton.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in High Street, Hampton between its junctions with Hampton Road and Park Road and its junction with Uxbridge Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 25 September 2022. The restrictions will be in force at 22.00 on 25 September 2022 and remain in force until 05.30 on 26 September 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Alternative routes for traffic will be available via High Street, Park Lane, Hampton Road, Uxbridge Road, Broad Lane and Hanworth Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
