The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday 26 September 2022 until 1700 hours on Wednesday 28 September 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along High Street, between its junctions with Spring Hill and Market Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 23 September 2022 and Friday 4 November 2022 the following road will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately two weeks within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of footway resurfacing works to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads, and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road, where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
