Temporary Closure of Footpath WG 17/17

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC including pedestrians from proceeding along footpath WG 17/17 from OS grid ref ST 13706, 21733 in a generally southerly direction for 70 metres to OS grid reference ST 13738,21671.

This is because following a risk assessment Network Rail consider the crossing to be unsafe.

The Order will take effect from 2 October 2022 and will remain in force for 6 months.
