The A1(M) Motorway (Junction 50) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Notice Is Hereby Given

that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in the District or Richmondshire, to enable drainage, pavement, resurfacing and road marking works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Monday 19 September 2022 for 6 weeks, or until completed.

The effect of the Order will be to close,
24 hours a day, at times during the works,
the A1(M) southbound exit slip road at Junction
50 (Baldersby); during which times a suitably
signed alternative route will be available.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the
prohibition (which will not apply to emergency
service vehicles or vehicles being used in
connection with the said works or for winter
maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
The Order comes into force on
18 September 2022 and has a maximum
duration of eighteen months.
