Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: A417 From Richland Farm To C1118, Ullingswick, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A417 From Richland Farm To C1118, Ullingswick, outside Burley View. Grid Ref: 358796/248247.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A417 onto the A49 onto the A44 onto the A465 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to pole works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 15th of October 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
