Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U80300, Overbury Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80300, Overbury Road, Hereford, Ainslie Close to the junction with Venns Lane. Grid Ref: 352018/241098. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Aylestone Hill onto Venns Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to gas works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of October 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 33 days.
