NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984


Heyes Lane, Alderley Edge/Wilmslow
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.


Prohibition of traffic - Heyes Lane, Alderley Edge/Wilmslow - From the junction of Moss Road to the junction of Hough Lane. The alternative route will be via Heyes Lane, Hough Lane, Hough Lane Roundabout, Prestbury Road, Wilmslow Road, Wilmslow Old Road, Alderley Road, Mottram Road, Chapel Road, London Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.


This order will come into operation on Monday 3rd October 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 21st October 2022.
