Application under Section 36 the Electricity Act 1989

PRE APPLICATION CONSULTATION PUBLIC EVENT
Proposal:  Solar Array and Battery Storage over 50 MW and associated works and infrastructure.
Site Location:  Land at Benthead Farm, Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, KA13 7RU.
A drop in event is being held for the purposes of community consultation for this development proposal.
The in person event will take place on Wednesday the 28th of September at Erskine Hall, 5 Garden Sq Lane, Kilwinning, KA13 6AD between the hours of 3:00pm and 7:00pm. In addition to the in person event, there will also be a project website where information can be obtained and feedback given. The website will be available from the 28th of September and will remain open until after the application has been submitted to the Scottish Government's Energy Consent Unit. Please note at this stage any comments made to the developers website will be treated in confidence and not directly passed onto North Ayrshire Council or the Scottish Government's Energy Consents Unit. There will be an opportunity to make formal comments to the Energy Consents Unit when the section 36 application for the proposal is submitted.
