(High Wood View, Durham City) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 9/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 22 metre length of segregated footpath along the gable and rear of number 7 High Wood View, Durham City to enable water supply renewal works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to traffic from the southern side of the closure from number 7, westerly to number 1 then north along the gable of number 1 leading to the rear of High Wood View to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 19/9/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
