Tretire Marsh Lane, Temporary Road Closure

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71400, Tretire Marsh Lane, St Owens Cross, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71400, Tretire Marsh Lane, St Owens Cross, approximately 40 metres from 'Rectory Cottage'. Grid Ref: 352112/223943. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4521 onto the A4137, onto Gillow Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of September 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
