Malvern Hills District Council Public Paths Diversion Order 2022 Footpaths 550 (Part) And 555 (Part), Hallow, Worcestershire


On 6 September 2022 Malvern Hills District Council Confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as Confirmed is to STOP UP

(A) The existing Footpath No. 550 Hallow running from Point C (Grid reference 382778 258665) across pasture land in a north-easterly direction to Point H (Grid reference 382904 258713 J where it continues as Footpath No.550, all as shown on the plan annexed to the Order (the Order Plan)

The overall length of the path is approximately 135 metres and is shown as a bold black line on the Order Plan
(B) The existing Footpath No.555 Hallow running from Point A (Grid Reference 382772 258663 {across pasture land in a south-south-easterly direction to Point B (Grid Reference 382791258616 J where it continues as Footpath No. 555

The overall length of the path is approximately 51 metres and is shown as a bold black line on the Order Plan. And CREATE

(A) A new footpath running from Point C (Grid reference 382778 258665 J in a south-south-easterly direction for approximately 10 metres to Point D (Grid reference 382784 258657), where it turns north-easterly for approximately 42 metres to Point E( Grid reference 382824 258670) and then continues in a north easterly direction for approximately 24 metres to Point F (Grid reference 382845 258682 J and on in a north-easterly direction for approximately 41 metres to Point G (Grid reference 382884 258692) and then in a north-north­easterly direction for approximately 30 metres to Point H (Grid Reference 382904 258713 J where it continues as Footpath 550, all as shown on the Order Plan.

A new footpath running from Point C (Grid reference 382778 258665 J in a south-south-easterly direction for approximately 10 metres to Point D (Grid reference 382784 258657), where it turns north-easterly for approximately 42 metres to Point E( Grid reference 382824 258670) and then continues in a north easterly direction for approximately 24 metres to Point F (Grid reference 382845 258682 J and on in a north-easterly direction for approximately 41 metres to Point G (Grid reference 382884 258692) and then in a north-north­easterly direction for approximately 30 metres to Point H (Grid Reference 382904 258713 J where it continues as Footpath 550, all as shown on the Order Plan.
The new footpath shall be unenclosed and 3 metres in width, nominally level in its cross axis, with a clear verge of 1 metre or thereabouts on either side, and will be approximately 147 metres in length, as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan.
(B) A new footpath running from Point D (Grid Reference 382784 258657) in a southerly direction for approximately 42 metres to Point B (Grid Reference 382791258616) where it continues as Footpath No.555 The new footpath shall be unenclosed and 3 metres in width, nominally level in its cross axis, with a clear verge of 1 metre or thereabouts on either side, and will be approximately 42 metres in length, as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan

A new footpath running from Point D (Grid Reference 382784 258657) in a southerly direction for approximately 42 metres to Point B (Grid Reference 382791258616) where it continues as Footpath No.555 The new footpath shall be unenclosed and 3 metres in width, nominally level in its cross axis, with a clear verge of 1 metre or thereabouts on either side, and will be approximately 42 metres in length, as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan
A copy of the Confirmed Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at The Council House at the address below during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be bought there at a price of £2.00.
This Order comes into force on the date on which Malvern Hills District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is first published, as required by Paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act
