(Hownsgill Drive Industrial Road, Delves Lane) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 9/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on an 880 metre full length of Hownsgill Drive Industrial Road from its junction with Butsfield Lane, Delves Lane to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. An alternative route will not be available to vehicular traffic during the closure periods. Access for emergency service vehicles will be afforded at all times, and access for residents when safe to do so. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/9/22 from 7pm to 6am nightly and are anticipated to be completed in 5 nights. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
