Notice Is Hereby Given

under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Council made an Order to revoke the above joint orders currently in place and re-enact them as separate orders. This is for administrative purposes only as part of the Swindon Borough Council digitisation of traffic orders project and will not have any physical effect to the current weight restrictions in place.

The Orders will be operative as of 19 September 2022. A copy of the documents for the Order may be inspected online at

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 14 September 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
