Temporary Closure Of Various Roads For Q3 And Q4 Pre Surface Dressing (Various Parishes And Towns) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedules below.

SCHEDULE ONE: Cotswold District
There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works. The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carrying out carriageway pre-surface dressing patching.
The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 1st October 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2022. Temporary Road Closure Of C140 High Street (Bourton On The Water Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C140 High Street from its junction with Rectory Lane to its junction with Manor Close for a distance of approximately 58 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out sewer repairs.

Temporary Closure Of 400597 Back Lane (Oddington Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400597 Back Lane from its junction with Main Road to its junction with Minor Road from Back Lane for a distance of approximately 105 metres.
The reason for the closure is to undertake Openreach cabling.

Temporary Closure Of 400675 Broadmoor Farm To Sherborne Farm (Sherborne Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400675 Broadmoor Farm to Sherborne Farm from outside the property known as Sherborne Farm to outside the property known as Heronfield for a distance of approximately 168 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer lining works.

Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath Hmm 14 (Moreton In Marsh Town) Cotswold District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath HHM 14 from its junction with Fosseway Avenue extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 130 metres before going in easterly direction across the railway for 25 metres and then a further 130 metres in a northerly direction and 190 metres in an easterly direction to its junction with the Allotment Gardens off Evenlode Road. The Footpath falls within the Town of Lechlade in the Cotswold District, in the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to protect the public whilst work is undertaken to upgrade the crossing. The Order will come into force from the 3rd October 2022 at 08:00. It is expected the Footpath will remain closed until 15:00 on the 21st October 2022. This Order can however remain in force for six months if necessary. If a longer period of time is required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. Alternative Route - as shown on map in a blue dotted line.
