PARISH OF COMPTON BISHOP Temporary Closure of Footpath AX 15/13 TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of his powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has approved an extension to the above Order for a period of two years or until the works are complete, whichever is earlier.

The original order came into effect on 7 March 2022 and PROHIBITED ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Footpath AX 15/13 from its junction with the county road known as Webbington Road in a south easterly direction for approximately 270 metres until it crosses the River Yeo due to an unsafe bridge.
