The closures will not apply to emergency service vehicles engaged in official duties. The order is required in connection with the Tour of Britain 2022 Event. The closures will be phased, and the phase, times and dates will be signposted locally. The provisions of this Order shall apply only at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 or as directed by a Police Constable in uniform.
