ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(as Amended) - SECTION 14(11 THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (SUTTON ROAD. ST HELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING-ORDER 20221 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23rd day of August, 2022, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit a vehicle proceed in either direction along Sutton Road at its junction with Jackson Street, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order came into force on Monday 5th September 2022, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to take four weeks.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the replacement of a section of gas main.
