The County Council of Durham (Garden Street, Newfield) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 2/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 15 metre length of Garden Street, Newfield, adjacent to property numbers 13 to 25 to enable water supply renewal works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, a diversion will be available to vehicular traffic via West View and Springbank Road. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/9/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
