Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Pusey Street Temporary Parking Bay Suspension
Date of Order: 5 September 2022
Coming into force: 12 September 2022

This Order is being introduced because of Facade works to St Cross College which is anticipated to be completed 17 July 2023. The effect of the Order is to prohibit parking by temporarily suspend the parking bays in Pusey Street adjacent to St Cross College building (Disabled Persons Parking and Permit Holders Parking). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exceptions are included for emergency service vehicles and for the purpose of the works.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Central Area, Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2011 (as amended) and the Oxfordshire County Council Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons Parking - Oxford) Order 2010 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. Prohibition of Vehicles
Date of Order: 5 September 2022
Coming into force: 14 September 2022

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed 21 September 2022. This will operate between 19:00 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Beaumont Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via Magdalen Street, Broad Street, George Street, Worcester Street, Park End Street, A4144.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T10520/AC)
