(LAND NORTH EAST OF DRAUGHTON GROVE, LITTLE HORTON, BRADFORD) (DERELICT LAND RENOVATION SCHEME) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2022
COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN LITTLE HORTON, BRADFORD
For technical reasons, it has been necessary to withdraw the aforementioned Compulsory Purchase Order and for a new Compulsory Purchase Order to be made and published to invite objections as follows -
1. Notice is hereby given that The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has made The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (Land north east of Draughton Grove, Little Horton, Bradford) (Derelict Land Renovation Scheme) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022 under Section 89(5) of The National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949. It Is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, and If confirmed the order will authorise The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of bringing derelict land lying to the north east of Draughton Grove, Little Horton, Bradford back into beneficial use as a community amenity space.
2. A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the City Hall Reception of The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Centenary Square, Bradford BD1 1HY and on the Council's scheme web site -

3. 4. Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, for the attention of Andy Ruck, Business Support Team, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministerial Contact Unit, Strategy Directorate, "Seacole Building', No 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF, or by email to defra.helpline@defra.gov. uk for the attention of Andy Ruck before Friday, the 23rd September 2022 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
5. In submitting an objection, it should be noted that the personal data and correspondence relating to any objection will be passed to The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to enable any objection to be considered. If any person does not wish personal data to be forwarded to the Council, they should state why when submitting the objection and the Secretary of State will copy the representations to the Council with the name and address removed and if there is to be a local Public Inquiry, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.
