HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 116 APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make application to the Magistrates' Court sitting at Wilton Road, Salisbury on 11 October 2022 from 2pm for Orders stopping-up sections of highway on the ground that they are unnecessary for public use.
The first application relates to Highway adjacent to The Queen's Head, St. Martin's, Marlborough Wiltshire. The section measures approximately 20 metres long and tapers from 2 metres to 1 metre in width at its eastern end.
The second application relates to part of the highway verge at Imber Road, Bratton, Wiltshire, where the section concerned measures approximately 98 metres long by 1 metre wide at its western end, widening to 2, then 3 metres wide going eastwards and tapering to a point at its eastern end.

Alternatively, the plans may be inspected free of charge by prior arrangement with Mr. Gale at County Hall, Trowbridge, during normal office hours.
Any person who has been served with notice, any person who uses the highway/s or any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order/s may attend or write to the court and make their objections or representations known.
