Stamfordham, Traffic Restrictions due to an Event

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 16A
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council ("the Council), in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act) and all other enabling powers, has made on the 31" August 2022 the Northumberland County Council (Beaumont Trophy and Curlew Cup) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2022 ("the TTRO").
The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of the Beaumont Trophy and Curlew Cup {"the Event") by restricting traffic on:
1. the U9030 Stamfordham Village Green Roads, the B6309 Stamfordham to Burnside, B6309 Burnside to Belsay junction, C211 District boundary to West Belsay junction, C224 Quarry cosure point to Boghall junction, U9013 Ingoe Moor junction to Sandybraes junction, C211 Bavington Hall junction to district boundary, B6342 Throckrington junction to Shiel Hill Capheaton, B6342 Five Lane Ends to Shiel Hill, C212 East quarter junction to Little Bavington junction, C222 Robin Hoods well junction to district boundary, C222 district boundary to Ryal, C222 at Ryal, C222 Ryal to Ingoe junction, C340 Maften junction to Belsay Castle junction Maften, C341 North side Maften, C341 Maften to Feneick, C345 Fenwick Main road, C341 Fenwick to Stamfordham and the C341 Stamfordham Village Green Roads Stamfordham ("the First Roads");
2. the C341 Stamfordham Village Green Roads, Stamfordham ("the Second Road").
The TTRO shall come into force as follows, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act
1. The rolling closure and the no waiting or loading at any time restriction of the First Roads, at 8:20 hours on 18th September 2022 and will remain in force until 18:50 hours on 18th September 2022;
2. The closure of the Second Road, at 17:30 hours on 17th September 2022 and will remain in force until 18:30 hours on 17th September 2022 and further at 7:00 hours on 18th September 2022 and will remain in force until 8:00 hours on 18th September 2022 and further at 17:50 hours on 18th September 2022 and will remain in force until 18:50 hours on 18th September 2022; and
3. The height restriction and the no waiting or loading at any time restriction of the Second Road, at 17:30 hours on 17th September 2022 and will remain in force until 18:50 hours on 18th September 2022.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO
All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.
Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:
a. Any activities taking place on the First Roads related to the organisation and holding of the Event;
b. Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.
c. Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergency services;
d. Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the First Roads); or
e. Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the First Roads and the Second Road.
