Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Dorchester, Footpath 287/1/30 (Bridge 70) Closure
Date of Order: 5 September 2022
Coming into force: 12 September 2022
This Order is being introduced because of footbridge replacement which is anticipated to be complete 18 October 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath 287/1/30 (Thames Path) at Dorchester. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is parallel close by.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Team (Ref.T10493/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Wallingford (South Stoke), Footpath 356/9/10 (Bridge 93)
Date of Order: 5 September 2022
Coming into force: 12 September 2022
This Order is being introduced because of replacement of the existing footbridge 93 which is anticipated to be completed on 9 November 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close the footpath No.356/9/10 at bridge-93 at the west end of Ferry Lane, South Stoke. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath.
For diversion, the path is diverted around works location via a temporary footbridge by agreement with Landowners.
Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Berrick Salome/Newington Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 19 September 2022
Coming into force: 27 September 2022
This Order is being introduced because of GPR Survey works which are anticipated to be completed 12 October 2022. This will operate between 20:00 and 06:00hours. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of the unnamed road from the junction adjacent with Benson Parish Council to the junction with the A329.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via A329, Thame Road, New Road, A4074, B4009, Unnamed Road and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 26 September 2022
Coming into force: 3 October 2022
This Order is being introduced because of high voltage cables connection works which are anticipated to be completed 30 October 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the eastern section of Church Road (4 to 23 October) and Keens Lane (24 to 30 October).
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Church Road will be signed locally.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
