SECTION 116 AND SCHEDULE 12 OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY TO STOP UP PART OF THE HIGHWAY AT DAVY FIELD ROAD, BLACKBURN

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates' Court sitting at The Court House, Northgate, Blackburn at 1:45pm on 11 October 2022 for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of an area of the highway being part of Davy Field Road, Blackburn more particularly shown on the Plan on the grounds that it is unnecessary.

The Plan showing the effect of the proposed Order may be examined at the Information Desk, Town Hall, Blackburn and at the Town Hall, Darwen, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between the hours 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (excluding Bank Holidays) until the 10th October 2022.
