The Buckinghamshire Council (Speed Limit) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 003) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 9th September 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council"), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the Act of 2004") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, proposes to make the above titled Orders.
The effect of the order is to amend the speed restriction by imposing a 40 miles per hour speed limit on parts of the Tingewick Road and Buckingham Ring Road.
A copy of the Order and Plans showing the lengths of roads affected, together with a copy of the Statement of Reasons may be inspected during normal office hours at "The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF" or on our website at https://yourvoicebucks.citizenspace.com/.
If you wish to question the validity of these Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within six weeks from 9th September 2022, by applying to the High Court.
The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Old End, Padbury in the Parish of Padbury CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Old End for the entire length. Alternative route: Main Street, Station Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Gigaclear to lay 150m of direct buried cable in C/W and 80m of direct buried cable in Verge build chambers and install toby boxes works take place commencing on 12 September. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Minshull Close, Buckingham in the Parish of Buckingham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Minshull Close for the entire length. The closure is required whilst Gigaclear lay 50m of direct buried cable in C/W and 10m in F/W install toby boxes and build a F/W 4 Chamber works take place commencing on 12 September 2022. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Old Amersham Road, Denham in the Parish of Denham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Old Amersham Road for approximately 280m. Alternative route: Amersham Road, Redhill, Oxford Road, Denham Avenue, A40 J M40/A412/A4020 Roundabout, Denham Roundabout and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach Overhead cabling and tree trimming works take place commencing on 12 September 2022 between 09:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Fullers Hill, Hyde Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Fullers Hill for 134 metres. Alternative route: St Marys Way, Church Street, Missenden Road, Chesham Road, Hyde Heath Road, The Green, Weedon Hill, Copperkins Lane, Bois Avenue, Amersham Road, Red Lion Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst underground works to take place, commencing on 18 September 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Deadhearn Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Deadhearn Lane for 80 metres. Alternative route: Gorelands Lane, Nightingales Lane, Deadhearn Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 16 September 2022 between 09:00 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Honor End Lane, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Honor End Lane for 50 metres. Alternative route: Clarendon Road, Wycombe Road, Honor End Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 20 September 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 September 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
