A240 Ewell By-Pass, Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
On 07 September 2022 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the northbound carriageway to A240 Ewell By-Pass, Ewell that extends from its junction with A240 Kingston Road, to its junction with A24 London Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Cappagh to carry out sewer cover replacement and/or maintenance works on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7pm and 11pm, within 1 evening of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 September 2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route:- London Road, Ewell High Street, Spring Street, Chessington Road, Ruxley Lane and Kingston Road. London Road traffic wishing to access Ewell By Pass northbound will be diverted on Ewell By Pass to the Reigate Road Roundabout where it will turn round to pick up the diversion. There will be a pre-divert via Kingston Road for northbound High Street (Ewell) traffic.
D2298 Mospey Crescent, Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
On 07 September 2022 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D2298 Mospey Crescent, Epsom. This Traffic Order is required to enable SQS to carry out service pipe repair and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 4 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 September 2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. The vehicular diversion route will be via Burgh Heath Road and Mospey Crescent.
