HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:


(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BARNET, RIDGE AND SOUTH MIMMS) ORDER 2022

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of A1081 St Albans Road, Barnet from its junction with the Dancers Hill Road/Trotters Bottom roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1731m.
An alternative route will be via A1081 St Albans Road, A1 Barnet Bypass Road, A411 (Barnet Road/Wood Street), A1000 High Street and A1081 St Albans Road.

2. that length of Deeves Hall Lane, Ridge from its junction with Mimms Lane south eastwards to its junction with Crossoaks Lane, a distance of approximately 731m.
An alternative route will be via Earls Lane, Blanche Lane and Crossoaks Lane.

3. that length of Warrengate Lane, South Mimms from its junction with B556 Mutton Lane north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Swanland Road, a distance of approximately 575m.
An alternative route will be via B556 Mutton Lane, A1000 (High Street/Hatfield Road/Great North Road), Hawkshead Road, Hawkshead Lane, Warrengate Road and Swanland Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON BIGNELLS CORNER, SOUTH MIMMS) ORDER 2022


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of Bignells Corner, South Mimms from its northernmost junction with St Albans Road clockwise and south westwards to its junction with the A1081 St Albans Road/A1(M) (junction 1) roundabout ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 269m.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WOODHALL LANE, SHENLEY)
ORDER 2022

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodhall Lane, Shenley from a point 410m south west of its junction with B5378 Green Street north westwards and south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
