SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING,
UNLOADING & FOOTPATH CLOSURES) (TTO2157) ORDER 2022 (QUEENSWAY/QUEENSWAY SLIP ROAD NE/QUEENSWAY SLIP ROAD NW)
Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has proposed to make the above Order. The effect of the order will be as follows:
1. Palmer Group will be removing the Queensway footbridge overpass

2.The proposed works and effects of the order are listed in Table 1 to this notice. Diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1

3. The Order will come into effect on 29 September 2022 and is expected to be completed by 03 October 2022; but may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and
pedestrians will be always maintained during the closure.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
