SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL
(GRAND DRIVE, VICTOR DRIVE, REDCLIFF DRIVE, BROADWAY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, STOPPING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING, UNLOADING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea City Counci has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea City Counci has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from Parking, waiting, loading & unloading on:
1. Grand Drive from outside properties No. 12a - 1. From outside property No. 20 - side of property No. 40 (Grand Lodge). From Opposite properties No. 5 - 11. These will be done in phases
2. Victor Drive from Outside property No. 20 to the junction with Leigh Cliff Road.
3. Broadway from Leigh Hall Road to Leighton Avenue, both sides.
This order will also prohibit any vehicle from
4. exiting Victor Drive at its junction with Grand Drive
5. exiting & entering Redcliff Drive at its junction with Grand Drive
6. suspension of one-way traffic on Victor Drive

The suspension is scheduled to commence 5th September 2022 until 23rd September 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The alternative route will be displayed on site for local traffic. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst the installation of fibre ducts take place, on behalf of CityFibre.
The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL DIRECTIONS 2016
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition mposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004
