CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 224
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)
and (Free Parking Places) (No.15) Order 2022 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.15) Order 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 30 August 2022 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers. 1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 48 Beauchamp Road, Upper Norwood, No. 190 Dalmally Road, Croydon, No. 52 Langdale Road, Thornton Heath, No. 63 Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath, No. 23 Malvern Road, Thornton Heath, No. 18 Natal Road, Thornton Heath, No. 12 Norwich Road Thornton Heath, No. 66b Nova Road, Croydon, No. 55 Strathyre Avenue, Norbury, No. 80 The Ridgeway, Croydon, No. 18 Westbrook Road, Thornton Heath, and No. 30 Woodlands Grove, Coulsdon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

4. The Order will come into operation on 05 September 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BURLINGTON ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Burlington Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Burlington Road will be closed north-east bound at its junction with Beulah Crescent.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Beulah Crescent, Norbury Road, Moffat Road, Speke Road, Burlington Road and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 05 September 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC- ALBERT ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate building development works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Albert Road.
2. Whilst the works are taking place Albert Road will be closed between its junction with Eldon Park and the north-western boundary of No. 105 Albert Road.
3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Harrington Road, Cresswell Road and Addison Road or via Albert Road, Coventry Road, Portland Road and Harrington Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 19 September 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within twelve months. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Farm Lane.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Farm Lane will be closed between its junction with Foxley Lane and the south-eastern boundary of No. 152 Foxley Lane.
3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative routes for traffic will be via Green Lane, Woodcote Road, Foxley Lane and vice versa, or via Green Lane, Woodcote Drive, Foxley Lane and and vice versa, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 16 September 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 15 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Bensham Lane, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Bensham Lane will be closed between its junction with London Road and a point 36 metres north-east of that junction.
b) The south-eastern footway of Bensham Lane will be closed between its junction with London Road and a point 36 metres north-east of that junction.

Whilst the closure is in place the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
- Via London Road (North) and Campbell Road.
- Via Bensham Lane, Campbell Road and London Road.
- Via London Road, St James's Road, Lodge Road and Cameron Road.
- Via Campbell Road and London Road.
- Via Lodge Road and Cameron Road.
