(ACCRINGTON ROAD, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2022 NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to close Accrington Road from the borough boundary to 341 Accrington Road.
The closure is necessary for the following reason: Resurfacing works. The Order will come into force on 9th September 2022 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17th September 2022. The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Windsor Road, Stanhill Road, Cabin End Row, Knuzden Brook and Bank Lane. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
