The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during cycle track repair works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 2 September 2022 and Friday 14 October 2022 the following road will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately two weeks within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of footway resurfacing works to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads, and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road, where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0700 hours from Saturday 03 September 2022 until 1800 hours on Sunday 04 September 2022, or when the event has finished, whichever Is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along North Walk, between Its lunctions with Esplanade and Canoe Lake Road. The closure Is required for safety during the Classic Car Show. The diversion will be signposted locally. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0700 hours from Saturday 03 September 2022 until 1800 hours on Sunday 04 September 2022, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner a) the one-way restriction will be revoked along Canoe Lake Road between Esplanade and North Walk; b) a 'No Waiting at Any Time' parking restriction will be introduced along Canoe Lake Road, on the south side, between Esplanade and North Walk. No person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along Canoe Lake Road between its junctions with Esplanade and Canoe Lake Road. These restrictions are required for safety during the Classic Car Show.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for a period between 1800 hours and 2359 hours, on Saturday 03 September 2022, or when the event is finished, whichever is the sooner,
A) No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along 1) Esplanade on both sides for its entire length; 2) Dover Street for its entire length; 3) Park Road between its junctions with Dover Street and Star Street; 4) Star Street for its entire length; 5) High Street from its junction with Star Street and St Thomas Square; 6) St Thomas Square for its entire length; 7) Union Street for its entire length; 8) North Walk for its entire length.
B) No person shall cause any vehicle to wait on both sides along 1) Dover Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Park Road; 2) Park Road between its junctions with Dover Street and Star Street.
The closure and restriction are required for safety during Ryde Illuminated Carnival. The alternative routes will be signposted locally.
