SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Haugh (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Harley for a distance of approximately 420m in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out cutting tree from overhead power lines and associated works. Alternative route via Hartley - Haugh (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 September 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) C20 (Part), Market Lavington; for a distance of approximately 25m either side of the rail bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out a detailed examination of above underbridge and associated works. Alternative route via C20 (unaffected length) - B3098 -A360 - C20 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 September 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd on 07740 223396. Orders A) and B) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 11 (Part), Semington; from its junction with St Georges Road for a distance of 75m in a southerly direction to enable resurfacing work. Alternative route via St Georges Road - St Georges Place and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2022 and the closure will be required for 06 months. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
