Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C184 Poole Road Main Road through Poole Keynes from outside the property known as South Barn to outside the property known as Bridge Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out tree works. The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on the 8th September 2022 only or until the works have been completed. The Road was originally closed by Urgent Notice commencing 31st August 2022. The works will not be completed within the 5 days authorised by the Notice and so it is necessary to extend the closure by and Order, which can authorise the closure of the Roads for up to eighteen months from the date of the original Notice. The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. The roads are expected to re-open on the 8th September 2022. The alternative route: as signed on site. Emergency access and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
