CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL

(Public Footpath 118 (Part) Steps Chester City)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of FP118 Chester City commencing at the top of the steps to be removed and replaced at OSGR SJ 4063 6663 and running in a generally south easterly direction to the base of the steps to be removed and replaced at OSGR SJ 4064 6662.
The Order will come into operation on 19.09.22 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until works are complete. There is an alternative footpath.
This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle.

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Chester City Centre)
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2022
The effect of the Order will be to:
Prohibit motor vehicles between 4.30pm and 8pm Monday to Sunday on (i) Bridge Street from a point 6 metres north of its junction with Feathers Lane to Watergate Street; (ii) Watergate Street from Bridge Street to Nicholas Street; (iii) Northgate Street from Eastgate Street to St Werburgh Street; (iv) Eastgate Street from St Werburgh Street to Northgate Street.
• Prohibit motor vehicles between 8am and 4.30pm on a Sunday except for loading/unloading between 8am and 10.30am on (i) Northgate Street from Eastgate Street to St Werburgh Street; (ii) Eastgate Street from St Werburgh Street to Northgate Street.
• Prohibit motor vehicles except permit holders and disabled badge holders between 8am and 6pm on a Sunday and for loading/unloading between 8am -10.30am and 4.30pm-6pm on a Sunday on (i) Northgate Street from Princess Street to St Werburgh Street; (ii) St Werburgh Street; (iii) Eastgate Street from St Werburgh Street to The Eastgate; (iv) Foregate Street from The Eastgate to St John Street; (v) St John Street.
• Prohibit motor vehicles except permit holders, disabled badge holders, buses, taxis and private hire vehicles between 8am and 6pm on a Sunday and for loading/ unloading between 8am-10.30am and 4.30pm-6pm on a Sunday on (i) Frodsham Street from Victoria Place to Foregate Street and (ii) Foregate Street from Frodsham Street to Love Street.
• Prohibit motor vehicles except for access between 8am and 6pm on a Sunday on (i) Upper Northgate Street from George Street to The Northgate (ii) Northgate Street from The Northgate to Princess Street; (iii) Water Tower Street; (iv) King Street; (v) Pemberton Road; (vi) Canning Street (vii) Kings Court; (viii) Hunter Street from Northgate Street to the access to the market service area; (ix) Princess Street from Northgate Street to Exchange Square.
•Prohibit motor vehicles except for access between 8am and 8pm on a Sunday and heavy commercial vehicles between 10.30am and 8pm on a Sunday on Bridge Street between its junction with White Friars and a point 6 metres north of its junction with Feathers Lane.
The Order will also consolidate existing restrictions.

(Bridge Street/Watergate Street, Chester)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2022
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting between 6pm and 8pm and loading between 4.30pm and 8pm in the lay-bys on: (i) Bridge Street (both sides) from a point 4 metres south of the south side of Pierpoint Lane for a distance of 22 metres in a northerly direction; (ii) Bridge Street (both sides) from a point 12 metres south of the south side of Commonhall Street for a distance of 72 metres in a northerly direction; (iii) Watergate Street (south side) from a point 3 metres west of the west side of Bridge Street for a distance of 11 metres in a westerly direction; (iv) Watergate Street (south side) from a point 54 metres west of the west side of Bridge Street for a distance of 57 metres in a westerly direction; (v) Watergate Street (north side) from a point 28 metres west of the west side of Crook Street for a distance of 24 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will also consolidate existing restrictions.

(Frodsham Street/Foregate Street, Chester)
(PROHIBITION OF LOADING) ORDER 2022
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit loading between 10.30am and 4.30pm on a Sunday on: (i) Frodsham Street (both sides) from the south side of Victoria Place to Foregate Street;
(ii) Foregate Street (both sides) from its junction with Frodsham Street to its junction with Love Street;
(iii) Kaleyards/Frodsham Street Car Park Exit Road (north side) from its junction with Frodsham Street for a distance of 53 metres in a westerly direction; (iv) Kaleyards/Frodsham Street Car Park Exit Road (south side) from its junction with Frodsham Street for a distance of 40 metres in a westerly direction; (v) Frodsham Street Car Park Access Road (both sides) from its junction with Frodsham Street for a distance of 32 metres in a westerly direction; (vi) Union Walk (both sides) from its junction with Frodsham Street for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction.
This Order will also consolidate existing restrictions. Full details of the proposed restrictions are in the draft Orders which, together with plans showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council Offices, HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 23 September 2022 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TRO6464 - Mudhouse Lane in Neston

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West | and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Neston to enable maintenance works to be carried out by SP Energy Networks.
Mudhouse Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 14th September 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately one week to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Chester High Road, Dunstan Lane, Mudhouse Lane.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
TRO6468 - Church Street in Malpas
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to an Order effect of which will be to prohibit traffic on the following lengths of roads in Malpas to enable the Church wall works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council - Highways and Building Control.
Church Street - Due to a collapsed boundary wall to the Church.
For safety reasons Church Street will be closed to traffic for the duration of the works.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 12th September 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Alternative route for through traffic - Church Street, High Street, Chester Road, Rabout Malpas/Bickerton, Whitchurch Road, Broxton Roundabout, Broxton Road, Barton Road, Worthenbury Road, Lane from Broughton Lodge Farm to Glandeg Farm, Road from Shocklach Lane Past Windy Ridge to B5069, B5069 from County Boundary to Frog Lane, Wrexham Road - and vice versa.
