Dorset Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984 as amended.

The effect of the Order will be to:

1. Revoke the existing 30 mph and 40 mph speed limits on the C50 Wimborne Road West/East from its junction with the Canford Bottom Roundabout to its Junction with the Tricketts Cross Roundabout.



This section of the C50 Wimborne Road West/East will then be 30 mph by virtue of street lighting.

2. Revoke the existing 40 mph limit on Stapehill Road from its junction with C50 Wimborne Road West to its junction with the Treharne Nursery.



This section of Stapehill Road, will then be 30 mph by traffic regulation order. Full details of this Order can be found online at
