Temporary Closure of Monmouth Street, Lyme Regis

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along MONMOUTH STREET, LYME REGIS between its junction with Coombe Street and a point approximately 15 metres east. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 19 September 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 October 2022. This Order will enable Jasper Scaffolding Ltd to erect scaffolding for repair work. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; A3052 - B3165 - Hill Road -Coombe Street.

JOHN SELLGREN, Executive Director of Place, Dorset Council, County Hall, Dorchester DT1 1XJ. Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.

Temporary Closure of Elsdons Lane, Monkton Wyld

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along ELSDONS LANE, MONKTON WYLD between A35 and a point approximately 95 metres to the north. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 04 September 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 October 2022. This Order will enable National Highways safe access to carry out safety works on the bell mouth junction.

An alternative route will be signed using; Scotts Lane.
