(Bournebridge Hill, Greenstead Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bournebridge Hill, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Russells Road to its junction with Plaistow Green Road a distance of approximately 1160m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 4 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2316149-EH2322987 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Pennypot Corner, Halstead Road, Gosfield Road, Braintree Road, The Street, Hedingham Road, Halstead Road - A1124, High Street, Bridge Street, Trinity Street, Mount Hill and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chapel Hill, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Hill, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 40m south of its junction with Beridge Road for a distance of approximately 90m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010687495 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Beridge Road, Butler Road, Trinity Street and vice versa (with access only into
Chapel Hill).

The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Oak Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mount Hill to its junction with Conway Close a distance of approximately 105m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction in that length of Oak Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mount Hill to its junction with Conway Close a distance of approximately 105m for the duration of the above closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.

All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153066916 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network.

The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mount Hill, White Horse Avenue, Three Gates Close, Oak Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
