(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of D'arcy Road, Tolleshunt Knights in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Strawberry Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th September 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30058073216 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road, Goldhanger Road, Church Street, South Street and vice versa with access only into Church Road and Kelvedon Road.

The Order will come into effect on 8th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lea Lane, Great Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Lea Lane, Great Braxted in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Old School Lane for a distance of approximately 290m in a north westerly then north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th September 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231007008 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign post repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Lea Lane, Braxted Park Road, Sextons Lane, Tiptree Road, Braxted Road, Heath Lane, Kelvedon Road and vice versa with access only into Lea Lane.

The Order will come into effect on 8th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Cromwell Hill, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Cromwell Hill, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 90m north east of its junction with Silver Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCSJF82R02 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground structure works are undertaken by Openreach. No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hackmans Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Hackmans Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 650m north west of its junction with Flambirds Lane for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54569465 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Hackmans Lane, Marlpits Road, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road, Stow Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Silver Street, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Silver Street, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 10m south east of its junction with Cromwell Hill for a distance of approximately 30m in south easterly then south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCSJF82R - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground structure works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Silver Street, Gate Street, High Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
