Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2022 (Limited Waiting and Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Restriction of Waiting on Wheeler Close, Worcester)

On 18 August 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to Prohibit Waiting At Any Time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Wheeler Close (North side): from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Henwick Road for a distance of 61 metres in a westerly, then southerly direction; (South side): from a point 43 metres west of its junction with Henwick Road for a distance of 6 metres in a south westerly direction.

Limited Waiting 45 Mins No Return 2 Hours Mon-Fri 10am-4pm
(South side): from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Henwick Road for a distance of 7 metres in a north westerly direction; then from a point 28 metres west of the junction for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Revocation of Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 10am-4pm
(North side): from a point 12 metres west of its junction
with Henwick Road for a distance of 57 metres in a
westerly then southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain
exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes
and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 8 September 2022.

On 18 August 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to vary waiting restrictions on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time: Little Chestnut Street (west side) from a point 6 metres south of its junction with Lower Chestnut Street for 3 metres in a southerly direction. Middle Street (west side) from a point 5.7 metres north of its junction with Little Southfield Street for a distance of 2.2 metres in a northerly direction and from a point 17.9 metres north of its junction with Little Southfield Street for a distance of 2.1 metres in a northerly direction.

Washington Street (west side) from a point 6 metres north of its junction with Southfield Street for 5 metres in a northerly direction. Limited Waiting 45-Minute Maximum Stay No Return Within 2 Hours Monday To Saturday 8am-6.30pm: Sansome Walk (west side) from a point 53.6 metres north of the centre line of its junction with Little Southfield Street for 6 metres in a northerly direction. Resident & Visitor Permit Holders Only:

Lansdowne Road (north side) from a point 106 metres east of its junction with Flag Meadow Walk for 5 metres in an easterly direction.

Restriction Of Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am To 5.30pm Except Bank Holidays/Permit Holders Only Mon-Fri 5.30-8.30am, All Day Sat & Sun & Bank Holidays: Little Chestnut Street (west side) from a point 6 metres south of its junction with Lower Chestnut Street for 3 metres in a southerly direction.

Waiting Limited To 3 Hours No Return Within 4 Hours Except Permit Holders: St Georges Lane North (south side) from a point 43 metres east of its junction with Shrubbery Road for 20 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 8 September
2022.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry Lane from its junction with B4424 Upton Road to its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane. Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50028 Meadowbank Drive (between no.31 & 43) from its junction with U54174 Meadow Bank Drive to its junction with A44 Bromyard Road. Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. (C2209 Station Road, Wadborough) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of C2209 Station Road from its junction with C2109 Mill Lane to its junction with U47619 Abbotswood Road. Reason: Level crossing maintenance by Network Rail. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2109 Mill Lane, B4084 Worcester Road, B4084 Pershore, C2100 Wadborough Road, U47619 Abbotswood Road and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of U52111 Cromwell Crescent from its junction with A44 London Road to its junction with U52115 Foxwell Street. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Proposed Order: to close that part of U62028 Sparrowhall Lane from its junction with A449 Malvern Road to its junction with Junction C2027 Collets Green Road. Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Order made: to close that part of C2067 Lightwood Lane from its junction with C2066 Broadheath Common to its junction with A44 Bromyard Road. Reason: Access to overhead structure for new customer connection by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2067 Lightwood Lane, C2066 Broadheath Common, C2066 Crown East Lane, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U43210 Church Lane from its junction with C2225 Bishampton Road to its junction with C2010 Radford Road. Reason: New customer connection by A G Redman &
Son Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Diversion 1 - A38 The Tything, A449 Castle Street and vice versa. Diversion 2 - U50001 Britannia Square, U50010 Albany Terrace, U50007 Britannia Square, U50000 The Moors.

Order made: to close that part of U51200 Windermere Drive from its junction with U51201 Goldsmith Road to its junction with U51256 Carnforth Drive. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U51200 Windermere Drive, B4550 Blackpole Road, U51214 Brickfields Road, U51246 Fairfield Close, U51256 Carnforth Drive and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. (U54254 Bromwich Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and (Reversing the One-Way) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of U54254 Bromwich Lane from its junction with A449 Bromwich Road to its junction with U54254 Bromwich Lane. (NB: The One-Way system on Bromwich Lane is to be temporarily reversed for the duration of the works). Reason: Street lighting repairs by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A449 Bromwich Road, U54255 Bromwich Lane, U54254 Bromwich Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 27 September 2022.

(Footpath EA-542, Earls Croome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 24 February 2022 the effect of which is to close Footpath EA-542, Earls Croome for its entire length which was due to expire on 7 September 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 23 December 2022 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made to allow works associated with the realignment of A38.
There is no alternative route.

(Footpath WR-678, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 20 February 2020 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath WR-678, Worcester for its entire length, which was due to expire on 3 September 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 3 September 2023 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to misuse of the crossing by members of the public, causing a danger to themselves and train users.

Alternative route is via Footpaths WR-676, WR-679, WR-680 and A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa.
