Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2022 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Chapel Street, Bromsgrove] On 18 August 2022

Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bromsgrove:
Chapel Street (southwestern arm) (Northwest side): from a point 30 metres south west of its junction with Chapel Street (main arm) for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction. (South east side): from a point 46 metres southwest of its junction with Chapel Street (main arm) for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly then southerly direction; from a point 78 metres south west then south east of the junction for a distance of 7 metres in a south easterly direction. Restriction of Waiting Mon-Sat 7am-7pm
Chapel Street (Northwest side): from a point 60 metres south west of its junction with Chapel Street (main arm) for a distance of 25 metres in a south easterly direction. (Southeast side): from a point 31 metres south west of its junction with Chapel Street (main arm) for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction; then from a point 60 metres south west then south east of the junction for a distance of 18 metres in a south easterly direction (around turning head).
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made

(C2033 Woodgate Road, Bentley Pauncefoot) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2033 Woodgate Road from its junction with U22200 Coalash Lane to its junction with U22202 Lower Bentley Lane. Reason: Allow access to telegraph poles for safe working by Openreach. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2033 Woodgate Road, C2033 Forest Lane, B4091 Hanbury Road, C2033 Moorgate Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 23 September 2022.

(A442 Kidderminster Road, Hampton Lovett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Order made: to close that part of A442 Kidderminster Road from its junction with Pointon Way (Private) to its junction with U40409 Wassage Way. Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: CAR DIVERSION: A442 Kidderminster Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sychampton to Mitre Oak, A449 A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worcester Road, A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green and vice versa. HGV DIVERSION: A442 Kidderminster Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sychampton to Mitre Oak, A449 A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 nights 20:00-06:00 Commencing: 5 September 2022.

(U20220 Galtons Lane, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of U20220 Galtons Lane from its junction with B4188
Hartle Lane to its junction with U20221 Dark Lane.
Reason: Tree Maintenance by Meadowbank Tree Service Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4188 Hartle Lane, C2003 High Street, U20221 Dark Lane and vice
versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 7 September 2022.

(B4096 Hewell Lane, Tutnall and Cobley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of B4096 Hewell Lane from its junction with C2173 Blackwell Road to its junction with C2001 Stoney Lane. Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4096 Alcester Road, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Bromsgrove Easter Bypass, B4184 New Road, B4184 Finstall Road, B4184 Alcester Road, B4096 Hewell Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 26 September 2022.

(C2004 Shaw Lane, Dodderhill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of C2004 Shaw Lane from its junction with U42024
Shaw Lane to its junction with C2033 Weston Hall Road.
Reason: Sewer works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2033 Weston Hall Road, B4091 Hanbury Road, C2004 Shaw Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 5 September 2022.

(U21354 Barnsley Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of U21354 Barnsley Road from its junction with C2253 Birmingham Road for a distance of 70 metres in a Westerly direction. Reason: Lay new ducting by Light Source.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U21354 Barnsley Road, U21354 Walton Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing:

26 September 2022.
