DOWNHILLS PARK ROAD - PROPOSED PARKING ARRANGEMENT CHANGES OUTSIDE THE GROVE SCHOOL

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-

1. Reduce the length of the permit parking bays on Downhills Park Road N17 west of The Grove School by extending the double yellow line by 4.2 metres on the south side and 6.6 metres on the north side.

2. Install single yellow line operating Monday-Friday 16:30-18:30 and Saturday 08:00-18:30 to accompany the section of school keep clear markings on Downhills Park Road N17 outside The Grove School entrance.

3. Replace the permit parking bays and a section of single yellow line on the south side of Downhills Park Road N17 east to The Grove School entrance with an 18 metre bus bay (operating Monday to Saturday, Bam to 6.30pm) and two 6.6 metre disabled badge holders only bays.

4. Install single yellow line operating Monday-Friday 16:30-18:30 and Saturday 08:00-18:30 to accompany the section of school keep clear markings on Downhills Park Road N17 east to The Grove School entrance adjacent to the flank wall of property No.75 Belmont Avenue. Both restrictions will be extended to a total length of 31.5 metres.

5. Extend the double yellow lines on Downhills Park Road N17 east of The Grove School entrance adjacent to the flank wall of property No.75 Belmont Avenue by 2.5 metres.

Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey
