Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpaths 10.6/1/1 Alne & 10.160/1/1 Tollerton, between grid reference SE49556515 & SE50436445 to ensure public safety during replacement of a collapsed footbridge, has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 26/08/23 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier, under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using so much of Skelgill Lane as passes over 'Skellgill Bridge' plus an approximate distance of 50 metres on each side of the bridge for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 12/09/22 & 16/12/22, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs. As the road is a cul-de-sac there is no alternative route for traffic. Access arrangements have however been agreed with local residents & a temporary footbridge will be provided to maintain pedestrian access.
