Temporary Traffic Orders

Notice is hereby given that the following Orders continues to be in force: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Public Footpath F13, Brambles Chine, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2022

The Isle of Wight Council gives notice that the Secretary of State for Transport has approved an extension of the above order until 31st March 2023 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier, no person shall cause any Pedestrian to proceed along Public Footpath F13 between its junctions with Public Footpaths F9 / F10 and the beach.
During the period of closure there is no alternative route.
The closure is necessary due the likelihood of danger to the public (damaged slipway).

The Isle of Wight Council (Public Footpath T16 (part), Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2022

The Isle of Wight Council gives notice that the Secretary of State for Transport has approved an extension of the above order until 30th June 2023 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier, no person shall cause any Pedestrian to proceed along the part of Public Footpath T16 between its junctions with Cliff Road and its junction with Public Footpath T17.
During the period of closure, the alternative route will be Public Footpath T17, Headon Rise and Cliff Road.
The closure is necessary due the likelihood of danger to the public (landslip has compromised the path).
