Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Burnham Avenue, Bierley, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Burnham Avenue, Bierley, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bumham Avenue from a point outside No. 70 Burnham Avenue to its junction with Miles Hill Crescent.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Burham Avenue (unaffected section), Dawson Lane, Tong Street, Rook Lane, Rooley Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 8th September 2022 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on the 8th September 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
