(C127 Barcusclose Lane, Crookgate Bank, Burnopfield) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2021

The Council on 17/9/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 235 metres of Barcusclose Lane that extends southwards from its junction with Plover Drive, Crookgate Bank, Burnopfield to enable new development sewer installation and associated works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the northern side of the closure south westerly on A692 to Pickering Nook, south easterly on B6313 through Clough Dene to Tantobie then north easterly on C127 through Tanfield to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months from 27/9/21. The final surfacing works are to commence on 30/8/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
