(Temporary Closing Of The Layby Situated On The South Side Of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the layby situated on the south side of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford from a point 45m north west of its junction with Holme Lea north westwards for its entire length ("the Layby"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out.
The Order is needed because cabling works are proposed to be executed near the Layby.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 August 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Layby.

(Temporary Closing Of Station Road, Kings Langley) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Kings Langley from a point 239m south east of its junction with Home Park Mill Link south eastwards for a distance of approximately 95m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Station Road, Primrose Hill, Toms Lane, High Street, Bedmond Road, High Street, Gallows Hill Lane, Gallows Hill and Station Road. The Order is needed because the dismantling of scaffolding over Station Road is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Otterspool Way, Watford/ Berry Grove Lane, Bushey) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Otterspool Way, Watford/Berry Grove Lane, Bushey from its junction with Merchant Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 598m ("the length of Roads"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Otterspool Way, Park Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and Berry Grove Lane.
The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the length of Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads. (Temporary Closing Of Leggatts Wood Avenue, Watford) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leggatts Wood Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 31m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Longspring, Beechwood Rise, Hazel Tree Road and Leggatts Wood Avenue.
The Order is needed because electrical service connection worls are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. (Temporary Closing Of Holywell Road, Watford) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Holywell Road, Watford from its junction with Harwoods Road south westwards to its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane, a distance of approximately 376m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Harwoods Road and A4145 (Vicarage Road/ Hagden Lane).
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telephone pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 September 2022 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at

(Temporary Closing Of Coppermill Lane, West Hyde) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coppermill Lane, West Hyde from its junction with Old Uxbridge Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1048m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Old Uxbridge Road, Chalfont Lane, A412 (Denham Way/North Orbital Road), Moorfield Road, Moorhall Road, Harvil Road, Church Hill, High Street, Park Lane and Coppermill Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Merry Hill Road, Bushey from a point 350m north west of its junction with Victoria Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Merry Hill Road, A411 (Sparrows Herne/High Street/ London Road) and Merry Hill Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sarratt Lane, Loudwater from its junction with Trout Rise south eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m ("the Road"), except for access.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using that length of Essex Lane, Abbots Langley from a point 80m
south east of its junction with South Way south eastwards for a distance of
approximately 60m ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed
on or near the Road.

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using that length of Gypsy Lane, Abbots Langley from a point 24m
south east of its junction with Hunton Bridge Hill south eastwards for a distance
of approximately 36m ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed
on or near the Road.

Road Hump Notice (Windsor Road, Watford) 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council, in order to improve road safety, propose under Sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install a round-topped road hump in Windsor Road, Watford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE: Round-topped road hump - to be installed on that section of road listed below and as set out in the scheme plan - Windsor Road - centred on a point 6.5 metres north east of a point in line with the projected north east kerbline of Sandringham Road.
The road hump will be constructed at a height of approximately 75mm above the existing carriageway.
