FLEMING WAY BUS BOULEVARD EXPERIMENTAL ORDERS
Notice is hereby given that on the 31 August 2022 SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the above Experimental Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative from the 4 September 2022 for the duration of 18 months, the effect of these Orders are as follow: Introduction of one way restriction on Sanford Street -Revocation of the bus lane on Faringdon Road and amendment to the bus lane on Holbrook Way and Princes Street. Amendment to the parking restrictions to allow for the introduction of bus stop clearways on Commercial Road, Faringdon Road, Princes Street, Edgeware Road and Sanford Street.
The Experimental Orders are introduced as part of the Fleming Way Bus Boulevard Scheme. The Orders and plans showing the extent of the restrictions can be viewed online on

Any person wishing to make representations whether to object to or support any of the Orders before they are made permanent must do so by completing the consultation form which can be found at

orders under 'experimental traffic regulation orders' by no later than 4th March 2023. Any objection or representation received will form part of a public record which may be made publicly available.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 31st August 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
