District of Sedgemoor Parish of Westonzoyland Temporary Closure of Liney Road
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Liney Road - from the junction with Townsend, southwards for a total distance of 188 metres. This Order will enable BCL Groundworks to carry out installation of road gullies, kerbs and drainage connection across highway. The Order becomes effective on 30th August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 5th September 2022 and last until 16th September 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days. Please visit
