TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - ETHEL STREET
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Ethel Street, at its junction with Conway Street, Brighton for a distance of approximately 25 metres in a southern direction. Access to be maintained for buses and deliveries outside the hours of 08.30-15.30.
(b) The temporary closure of Ethel Street to Goldstone Villas footpath 366.
2. The Order is necessary to allow works to reconstruct the junction and works on the staircase
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 12 September for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
